We take you on a poetic ramble up a mountain in the Beskid Wyspowy range of the Carpathian mountains in southern Poland.
Perched at just under 900 metres near the market town of Limanowa is a hamlet called Jeżowa Woda. A little wooden cabin stands alone in one of the meadows which make up the village’s patchwork of fields. Inside, American writer and editor Stefan Lorenzutti is putting his boots on to go for a walk.
